More information about Bush Counselling and support

Walk n Talk

This form of counselling involves conversations that take place while walking, or walking to a place that helps the conversation to flow. We’ve found that the rhythm of walking helps to punctuate a conversation with silence, yet keep the conversation moving. This form of counselling is available for young people aged 12 to 25 living around Melbourne (Victoria) or Hobart (Tasmania).

Fish n Talk

This form of counselling takes place while fishing, and may use fishing as a way of talking about life. The focus of fishing helps to direct a conversation towards the thing a participant wants to catch hold of. This form of counselling is offered around Melbourne (Victoria) for men and boys.

Paddle n Talk

Counselling while canoeing or kayaking sometimes allows the river to do the talking for you. The flow of a river can ease a situation and move a dilemma move towards resolution. This form of counselling is offered around North East Victoria (Victoria) and Hobart (Tasmania).

Labyrinth n Talk

This form of counselling involves walking a labyrinth, then talking about insights gained. This meditative walk crystalises ideas and brings clarity. Labyrinth counselling is offered for young people aged 12 to 25 living around Melbourne (Victoria) or Hobart (Tasmania).
