More information about supervision

Supervision

Individual supervision

Adventure Works provides 1:1 supervision for professionals and students working with people, either face to face, via phone or via Skype. The session frameworks and goals are co-created between the supervisor and practitioner.

Peer supervision

Adventure Works provides peer supervision to practitioner teams or student peer groups, either face to face or via teleconference. Peer supervision sessions are planned with organisations, but session frameworks and goals are co-created between participating practitioners or students.

Organisational supervision

Adventure Works offers supervision to coordinators, managers and directors of programs in which Bush Adventure Therapy or similar outdoor practices are delivered. The aim of this supervision is to provide information and advice about standard practices, policies and procedures relevant to the organisation. This guidance is based on Adventure Works in-depth knowledge of the wider fields of Outdoor Education, Outdoor Recreation and Bush Adventure Therapy in Australia.

Supervision training course

Adventure Works offers a 2-day training course for supervisors of students and practitioners in the field of Bush Adventure Therapy. This course is a prerequisite for those who wish to supervise students of the Bush Adventure Therapy training course at Level One, Level Two and Level Three.

*In accordance with standard clinical counselling and supervision protocol we maintain a duty of care and follow the mandatory reporting requirements of each relevant state or territory.
